Gundam: Battle Assault 2 Gameshark codes by Master ZED (masterzed@aol.com) I don't typically release my GS codes to the public (I don't do very many), but since Interact did such a crappy job at hacking this game, I figure, why not. I also typically don't create many P2 codes, hence the lack of them. Note 1: Doesn't work in story mode, although it will glitch those suits. The dummied suits don't have a pilot quote at the end of battle. Also, without Bolt Gundam on, returning to the character select after or during play with a fighter you don't have will freeze the game, so if you haven't earned any suits yet, at least earn him or use the Bolt Gundam available code before using this one. Note 2: The code activates when the suit's energy goes into the red, giving you 5 full bars (the top one is purple and the one underneath is blue, just like Big Zam and Neue Ziel). Note 3: The ammo offsets for player 1 will freeze the game at selection screens. The code for infinite ammo P2 was shortened to one byte to make sure it didn't freeze up either. For P1's code, the ammo will drop as normal but will be reset when it dips below 256. Note 4: Will allow some shots to go through w/out infinite shield code. Is needed for suits that do not have shield ability. Note 5: Shield must be activated first. Will not allow background dodge move. Also keep in mind that suits not meant to have shields may be well protected (Burning Gundam) or not very well at all (Physalis). Note 6: The first code simply unlocks the character/mode. The second does the same, however, with that one you can see the Progress Report (try going to the Options menu, turning on the code, then leaving), but it may slow down the game considerably for unknown reasons. Also, you may have to go into battle or switch menus before the new features/characters show up, except on Street Mode, where they may show up but not be selectable. Just fight a round to solve this. Finally, do not use the secondary codes any longer than you have to, the slowdown worsens if you mess with these offsets frequently midgame to get the report to show up. If you must see it, use every code you want to use at once, save, and reset if it slows down. Yes, if you're wondering, you can give the codes a value of 0 instead of 1 to turn off the character/feature, and in doing so you can see default characters like Burning Gundam on the Progress Report with their second code. Note 7: Latter code gives no message on Progress Report, goes straight from Progress to Save. For the Record menu, displays null records [Zaku II with 0 wins, Survival mode maybe?] if Time Attacks and Survival are not active, recommended if codes are used to release Time Attacks and Survival. Note 8: These codes give no message in the Progress Report, but do NOT turn them off and go to the Street Mode screen. You can still highlight them with the cursor and it will freeze the game if you do. Note 9: These codes change which MS is available in what slot. Keep in mind the following, however: the dummy suits (The-O, Zeta Gundam, Qubeley, Hamma Hamma) do not have character select tiles and will make their spot look blank even though they are there. Upon highlighting, no voice will sound and a Zaku II mech w/ Denim will appear. Also, putting a suit twice on the select screen will cause an odd glitch when the latter suit is highlighted. Even though the cursor is on the latter one, the tile closest to Bolt Gundam (0, 0 coordinates on the select screen) will be the one highlighted. Move the cursor and you'll be on a suit next to the one the cursor was on, not the one highlighted. I don't know why this glitch exists, but I suppose it doesn't matter. One last, but important thing: the chosen suit must be unlocked first, otherwise the spot will have nothing in it.
