1. Monster Stats 2. Monster Templates 3. Enemy AI Appendix A: Map Data Appendix B: Notes 1. Monster Stats Location= 100200 thru 103000 Size= ? 2. Monster Templates There are multiple responsible addresses, here they are: 103200 thru 105200 106A00 thru 107360? 107C00 thru 108600? Template pointers? 108B00 thru 109DE0 Enemy placement? 3. Enemy AI Location= 109E00 thru 10A100 (pointers) Size= 2 Bytes I think I've got it. The first good one, the one for Killer Bee, is 0B 9F. Well, 9F is another part of the pointer list! By adding 0B to 10A100, I get 10A10B, which hits four 0's and then Killer Bee's list. So why is the 2nd byte 200h off? Because all of the monster data begins at 100200! Therefore, 100200 + 9F0B = 10A10B, the *supposed* beginning of Killer Bee's list! Hah! Location= 10A100 thru 10C980 (AI data) Size= Variable It seems VERY basic in the first few. I don't understand the reasoning behind all the 0's though. The game seems to ignore them, and when I put something in it, it responds to it! GAHHHH, tons of wasted space! Commands: EF = ? This seems to be a command. It exited battle when I first used it... F0 = This was ignored....? FD = filler? Seems to act as a continuation of lists... FE = regular spells? No set length!? FF = end Use FF afterwards to end a list. Appendix A: Map Data Location= FE200 thru FF060? Size= ? This is an appendix because I don't think I'll be able to decypher it since it seems to be compressed. (If I can, though, I'll renumber it into a section). Appendix B: Notes 2CA0 thru 3180? Overworld sprites! 3A500 thru 3BB40? 43FC0 thru ? Pattern ends with a little more than 60h 00h's (96 0's). 68340? thru 68580? 82420 thru 83500 Ends with block of 0's. 83520 thru 84BE0?
