10. Enemy special move graphics Location=F39C0 Size=1 Byte Very easy, very simple, and only has 1 byte per monster. Quite possibly the easiest to edit. Since they follow the regular order of monsters, I won't list the individual offsets here (just add the # of the monster you want to add to the location, ex. Guard is F39C0 + 0 since he's first, whereas Hazer would be F39C0 + 8 since he's the 9th monster, etc.). However, here's the list of sprite values since they are special to this list only (I think): 00=multiple 8-spiked stars, like when Fight is used with no weapon 01=white diagonal slash (like this: \ ), ½ transparent 02=thin white diagonal slash 03=upside down red whiplash 04=white whip lash 05=thick sky-blue whip lash 06=thick horizontal white slash 07=white crescent-moon-shaped slash 08=red claw slash 09=green bite marks* (where did this go!?) 0A=triple horizontal white slashes 0B=horizontal white slash 0C=single white 8-spiked star, expands slowly 0D=vertical white slash, animates top to bottom 0E=white bite marks* 0F=multiple needles, come in 3 small groups 10=black circular explosion, comes fast from just in front (or behind) the opponent. 11=small hammer that hits opponent on head 12=bone flys at opponent from attacker 13=wrench flys at opponent from attacker 14=white lightning bolt strikes opponent from above 15=multiple blue-white beams of light come from above and encircle opponent 16=single robotic hand flies at opponent and bounces off it 17=blue bald guy forms from a puddle of goo underneath opponent, then sinks back in (What the!? It sucks IMLO) 18=blue bubbles, then jiggle character/monster a little 19=musical note flies moderately slow at opponent while moving up and down from attacker 1A=heart files at opponent, much the same as the note above 1B=wheel appears in front of opponent, then runs over him 1C=two red explosions 1D=missile flies at opponent from attacker 1E=single net appears over opponent in its direct center 1F=drill flies at opponent from attacker 20=big black ball falls on opponent from above 21=grey slash, then skull 22=thick diagonal white slash (glitch, uses black spell casting sound) 23=diagonal white slash (glitch like above) 24=diagonal white slash (except with effect/recovery spell sound) 25=diagonal white slash (uses black spell casting sound) 26=same as above 27=white whip lash, black spell cast sound 28=white whip lash, running away sound, lash animation time slowed for use of escaping sound. 29=diagonal white slash (uses black spell casting sound) 2A=upside down white whip lash, black spell casting sound 40=black spell casting sound, instant damage 60=blackout 70=dance sound, enemy fades away like a defeated boss, instant damage 75=graphical glitches 7F=flying dark blue wrench, wind sound 80=jump sound, discolored spear protrudes through back of target 8A=long wait, thought I heard something, but couldn't make it out, instant damage 8B=enemies glow white pale, atom/true edge sound 8F=glitch 90=rasp sound, instant damage The rest are glitches as well, I think. Don't hold me to that. * = If you're not sure what I mean by bite marks, let Tyranosaur use his special on you to see what I'm talking about.
